General Purpose
Plan and execute the cash sales plan for the region and achieve the sales volume, enhance market in store execution and customer service objectives through effective leadership and maximum utilization of the Region’s sales team and ensuring successful achievement of sales AOP and to safeguard & develop the company image in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
• Assess the sales staffing and skill requirements. Develop plans to address short and long term HR needs within the region.
• Assist in preparing & getting agreement to the sales annual operating plan which will meet company AOP and business planning requirements.
• Convert the region’s sales and market development objectives to all Area Managers within the Region.
• Ensure proper execution for all new product initiatives.
• Ensure proper roll-out and sustain the implementation of Best Practice Tools within the Region.
• Evaluate competitive activities impact in his region and report to the Sales Director.
• Expand distribution/share within the region as per AOP business plan.
• Provide ongoing coaching to all Area Managers within the Region and ensure they are properly equipped, trained and motivated to achieve their objectives.
• Report infrastructure requirements within the Region as per market needs.
Experience
6-8 years of sales field experience in FMCG.
