Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.

They undertake complex operational activities including development and communication of campaign briefs based on awareness topics.

Job Responsibilites

Data Collection


  • Conduct research and benchmarking studies to stay abreast of the latest trends that can be applied at ZATCA to enhance awareness messages and its reach to the target audience


Planning


  • Develop awareness strategy and directions in line with ZATCA overall strategy


Awareness Topics and Briefs Development


  • Assess the content that needs awareness and identify the key awareness topic needing to be addressed
  • Assess the best ZATCA channel and communication program to adopt to raise the identified key awareness topics, reach the target audience ensuring proper awareness of ZATCA’s mission and purpose
  • Develop awareness briefs including key awareness topics in line with marketing directions and ZATCA’s overall strategy
  • Communicate campaign briefs to relevant stakeholders providing all required materials to process awareness messages
  • Follow-up on the development of internal and external awareness messages ensuring alignment with awareness strategy and securing a proper reach of the identified awareness topic


Performance Monitoring


  • Gather required input from different channels, functions, and surveys to assess awareness messages’ performance
  • Perform analysis on awareness messages’ performance, highlight gaps and recommend needed corrective action and ways of improvement to enhance the reach of awareness messages


Organization and Operations


  • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
  • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
  • Perform other duties as requested


People Management


  • Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
  • Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes


Eductaion

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent is required

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
