Job Title: Operations Assistant
Reports To: Managing Director
Department: Management & Operations
Summary:
The Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customer orders, from point of sale to final delivery. This role involves close collaboration with the fulfillment team and customers to maintain high levels of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately, ensuring product availability and correct customer information.
- Track orders and provide timely updates to customers on order status and delivery.
- Liaise with the fulfillment team to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Monitor deliveries and address any potential delays or issues.
- Manage order changes, cancellations, and returns, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding order inquiries and delivery information.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and order documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Assist the Managing Director with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative, customer service, or operations role.
- Experience with order processing and fulfillment is a plus.
