Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with 8 years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant standards. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to provide technical expertise, support project execution, and resolve any electrical-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for a variety of projects, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC systems, and control systems.
• Prepare and review electrical engineering calculations, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform load calculations, fault analysis, and protection system design for electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project managers, contractors, and construction teams throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications by monitoring project progress and addressing any delays or issues.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical) to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system malfunctions or failures, providing efficient solutions and preventive maintenance plans.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, test results, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in the procurement of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems through regular maintenance and upgrades.
• Stay updated on new technologies, industry trends, and advancements in electrical engineering practices.
  
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Proficient in electrical engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and safety regulations.
• Experience with power distribution systems, lighting systems, control systems, and electrical instrumentation.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating electrical engineering projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management principles, including cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience with renewable energy systems, automation, or smart grid technologies.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in electrical engineering.
