We are currently seeking IT Field Technicians to join our team and support our restaurant and Cloud Kitchen Operations in maintaining their Point-of-Sale (POS), printers, networks, CCTV systems, laptops, and other peripherals.

Responsibilities

  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site technical support for restaurant, Cloud Kitchens, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of POS systems, printers, networks, CCTV cameras, laptops, and other IT equipment.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems and equipment in restaurants.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure new hardware and software components, including POS terminals, printers, network devices, and CCTV cameras, according to the operational need.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by restaurant staff promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, installations, and maintenance activities performed at each restaurant location.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with restaurant managers and staff to understand their IT requirements, provide technical assistance, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to restaurant staff on the use of IT systems and equipment, including POS terminals and software applications.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing IT support, preferably in a field service or helpdesk environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to POS systems, printers, networks, CCTV systems, and laptops. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is desirable.
  • Driving License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory for this role.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to multiple restaurant locations within the designated area.
