Job Responsibilities

Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, answer any questions, and assist them with product selection when necessary.
Accurately scan items, total purchases, and accept various forms of payment (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments).
Ensure the correct change is given, and maintain an accurate cash register and drawer.
Keep the cashier station neat, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., bags, receipt paper).
Process returns or exchanges according to store policies, and handle customer complaints professionally.
Adhere to store policies for cash handling, fraud prevention, and security.
Be knowledgeable about the store’s products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
Promote additional products, sales, or services when appropriate.
Assist in restocking, inventory checks, or other tasks as needed by the team.

Job Requirements

Basic math, customer service, communication, and multitasking.
Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred
Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate amounts of weight, and operate a cash register.
