About The Role

As a MEP engineer, you will manage operations and maintenance of facilities in accordance with agreed to service levels and costs. Position develops and manages systems and processes to ensure operations and maintenance work is performed in compliance with the client corporate expectations and applicable laws and regulations. Determines and implements strategy for base building and client requested projects. Position ensures implementation of site goals and ensures day to day compliance which includes championing HSE. Many of the activities are technical in nature requiring a good understanding of building utility and structural systems. In addition, position is responsible for managing maintenance and operations workforce and client software platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Overall management of
  • Operation of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety etc).
  • Maintenance and repairs.
  • Base building and client requested projects.
  • Energy conservation including utility monitoring.
  • Maintenance and operations workforce.
  • PPM & ticketing system.
  • Develops, implements, monitors and improves maintenance plans including preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Develops and manages budgets for technical services area. Includes the development of base building improvement projects budgets.
  • Approves the selection of professional services e.g. architects, engineers, interior designers.
  • Reviews and approves or seeks appropriate approval level, commitments and invoices.
  • Develops a strategic asset preservation program to ensure assets are managed to provide maximum value.
  • Keeps abreast of facilities management issues including applicable regulations, design, construction, equipment, SHE issues etc.
  • Develops training and development plans for O&M staff
  • Manages operations and project staff as required.
  • Manages purchase requisitions and (Goods or Services) receipt process related to O&M and security.
  • Participate in site P&B process.
  • Maintain building equipment in a good condition.
  • Manage client requested projects. (Facility)
  • Review and approve all the governmental services invoices prior submission.
  • Manages all HSE documentation to ensure integrity and consistency.
  • Responsible for incidents reporting and investigation.
  • Conduct trend analysis of SHE Events, Interventions, and Observations & Inspections.
  • Assessments and incidents entry in client’s platform.
  • Participate in business continuity plans and the execution of required drills.
  • IAQ coordinator, measuring Temperatures, relative humidity and CO2 and document measurements in the IAQ survey screening tool and ensure that they are in the acceptable range according to IAQ guidance.
  • Manages all the environmental tests and ensure they meet the standards/acceptable range:
  • Water analysis according to WHO parameters.
  • Lux intensity.
  • Pollutants emitted from Generator.
  • Nosie levels.
  • X-ray radiation.
  • Vibration testing and analysis.
  • Thermal & electrical inspections.
  • Approves e-CODs and ensure equipment is returned back to service flawlessly before COD closure.
  • Initiate e-MOC and manages the whole process till completion.
