Job Requirements
About the job Senior GL Accountant
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of month-end close procedures
- Participating in the preparation of annual budgets
- Conducting monthly budget vs. actual analysis with cause of changes
- Analyzing financial information to summarize the financial status and provide insights to management
- Assisting with tax audits and preparing tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Handling quarterly and year end external Auditor requirements
- Strong problem solving & time management skills.
- Work under stress and meeting deadlines.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- SAP user is a must.
- Strong accounting background with expertise in general ledger management
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant certification such as CMA, CPA or IFRS diploma is preferred.
