About the job Senior GL Accountant

  • Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of month-end close procedures
  • Participating in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Conducting monthly budget vs. actual analysis with cause of changes
  • Analyzing financial information to summarize the financial status and provide insights to management
  • Assisting with tax audits and preparing tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handling quarterly and year end external Auditor requirements
  • Strong problem solving & time management skills.
  • Work under stress and meeting deadlines.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • SAP user is a must.
  • Strong accounting background with expertise in general ledger management
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Relevant certification such as CMA, CPA or IFRS diploma is preferred.
