We are looking for a reliable and organized
storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our store or warehouse in Dubai. The ideal candidate will handle stock levels, record-keeping, and assist with receiving and dispatching goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Organize and store inventory in an orderly manner to optimize space and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transfers, and adjustments.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
- Issue goods and materials to departments or customers as per requests and approvals.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the storage areas.
- Handle documentation related to deliveries, stock movements, and returns.
- Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor or management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely supply of materials.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory or warehouse management are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Controller, or similar role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Basic knowledge of safety and storage regulations in the UAE.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
