Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for financial analysis and management review.
- Assist in the monthly close process by providing inventory-related information and analytics.
- Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate costing and valuation of inventory.
- Review transactions related to inventory purchases, sales, and adjustments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls related to inventory management.
