Cloud Solution Architect

Job Purpose:

Lead the design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and efficient private/hybrid cloud environments tailored to organizational needs. This role combines expertise in OpenShift, Ansible, Red Hat CoreOS, and industry-leading architecture frameworks to deliver innovative solutions that optimize cloud resources, enable agile development, and support strategic goals. The Cloud Solution Architect ensures seamless automation, robust infrastructure performance, and overall service availability by driving end-to-end architecture, coordinating with IT teams, and overseeing the successful transition, development, and implementation of cloud projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance private cloud environments tailored to organizational needs.                                                                                                                       
• Leverage OpenShift for container orchestration, Red Hat CoreOS, and Kubernetes to streamline application deployment, scaling, and management.                                                                                                            
• Develop microservices architectures with integrated CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency and agility.                                                                                                              
• Ensure that an automated configuration management, application deployment, and cloud provisioning using tools such as Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates is in place for any new solution.                                                                                                              
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices while implementing robust, secure network designs and ensuring high availability.                                                                                                             
• Design and optimize hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity to meet organizational demands and ensure seamless integration.                                                                                                               
• Conduct and oversee studies, presenting findings and recommendations for system implementations, including logical descriptions of IT and services challenges and devising optimal solutions.                                                                                                                    
• Translate business strategies into technical strategies, defining end-to-end technology architectures that align with enterprise portfolio roadmaps and business objectives.    
• Provide design and implementation guidance for new infrastructure and service solutions, preparing As-Is, To-Be, gap analyses, and solution diagrams.                                                                                                                 
• Evaluate and recommend current and future technologies, applications, and solutions to support enterprise objectives.                                                                                                            
• coordinate for any needed cross-functional initiatives with IT groups, stakeholders, and other entities during project development, transition, and implementation stages.  
• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and architects to ensure solutions compliance with approved architecture.
