Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Operation & Support Specialist who is responsible for delivering timely technical data application assistance. This role involves problem-solving and monitoring during operational hours to maintain a healthy environment for the supported systems, ensuring seamless business operations and continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive data strategy to operationalize and support enterprise data management functions.
• Utilize supporting tools and access logs to identify and analyze the root causes of data issues across various functions.
• Oversee production data operations, deployments, documentation, and compliance with corporate data management protocols.
• Collaborate with all data functions to adhere to bank policies, internal controls, and relevant regulatory standards regarding data protection.
• Identify process efficiency opportunities and propose data automation initiatives to facilitate improvements.
• Implement backup, restore, and data archiving solutions to ensure data availability throughout its lifecycle.
• Monitor the performance of data solutions, transactions, and system layers.
• Integrate database standards from DBA to data support requirements across data management layers.
• Provide technical assistance for new data products and participate in subsequent projects.

Technical Proficiencies:
• Expertise in sourcing, accessing, and supporting data, along with engineering data processes.
• Strong technical and support skills using administration tools and troubleshooting technologies.
• Proficient in data operation models.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing (DWH).
• In-depth knowledge of Unix & Linux operating systems.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL & PL-SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
• Prior experience in the banking sector is advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:
•Implement end to end to apply the data strategy scope for operation and support the enterprise data management functions
•Effectively use supporting tools, data accessibility, logs and narrative to identify and present / data issues root cause for different data functions
•Implement and manage the process of production data operation , deployments , documentation and population to ensure adherence to corporate data operation management.
•Work closely with all data functions manage and apply all support processes undertaken in compliance with bank policy, internal controls, data protection legislation and relevant national / industry standards.
•Identify opportunities through which to deliver process efficiency / improvement and develop data automation proposals through which to communicate and deliver the change.
•Apply the process of data backup / restore and data archiving solutions
•Ensure the availability of data throughout the data lifecycle
•Monitor the performance of data solutions , layers and transactions
•Connect database standards from DBA to data support Requirements across data management Layers.
•Provide technical support to new data product and participate in new projects.
