As a Business Development Team lead, you will be responsible for coaching the sales team on how to seek new business opportunities, develop leads and meet sales quotas. You will be responsible for driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Growth of people:

  • Hire and onboard new team members.
  • Design & Conduct training & coaching programs for the BD team to maximise their potential.
  • Provide on-the-ground support.
  • Regularly update the reporting dashboard to track all sales activities.

Growth of Business:

  • Be the expert on the Egyptian Real Estate market by combining on-ground insights with dubizzle high-level overview and data.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Collect market insights and stay up to date with laws and local development news.
  • Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

Growth of Sales

  • Update reports (weekly/monthly..etc) with all sales activities, production and pipelines.
  • Manage and distribute team targets in terms of revenues, sales activities and account management for the team.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Liaise with Finance, Customer Support, Legal and Marketing departments for any sales-related or client-related issues.
  • Develop a database of leads for the sales team through referrals, telephone, face-to-face, cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email and networking.
  • Monitor feedback and after-sales reports received for the team & set action plans based on the received feedback.
  • Supervise/ plan for building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Monitor business meeting rates with prospective clients.
  • Design and align sales contracts for team clients, ensuring adherence to established laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Car and Driving license as this role requires you to attend many out-of-office meetings.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, 2 as a sales team lead in Real Estate, Online Marketplaces or similar industries.

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with the dubizzle website.
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate market in Egypt and of the Subscription industry.
  • Familiar with Prop tech, Marketplace, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
  • Excellent in English Communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills

  • Strong Leadership & people management skills.
  • Highly computer literate and online savvy.
  • Excellent in prospecting, cold calls and generating leads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent in converting leads into paying customers.
