We are looking for a skilled
IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and resolving technical challenges promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up new user accounts, manage permissions, and ensure IT security compliance.
- Coordinate with external vendors for the repair and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement when required.
- Assist in IT projects, such as system upgrades and network installations.
- Document technical procedures and provide user training as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience with IT support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
