Job Description
Patient Care:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nurse.
- Help patients with mobility, including moving them from beds to wheelchairs and aiding in ambulation.
- Assist with oral hygiene, skin care, and toileting.
- Assist in minor medical procedures under the supervision of a nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including electronic health records (EHRs) input.
- Ensure that patient rooms and nursing stations are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Relay messages and information between patients and nurses.
- Perform a variety of office responsibilities: answer phone and take messages.
- Facilitate and assist in the referral of patients.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new personnel.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
Compliance with Quality of care and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control practices, ethical guidelines, UAE regulations, and Dubai Health’s policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols.
- Ensure proper use of PPE to protect patients and staff.
- Adherence to common safety hazards and precautions and following healthcare facility policies, procedures, and regulations to establish a safe work environment.
- Adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
- Participate in emergency response activities and drills
- Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.
Qualification Requirements

Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Require/Preferred
Undergraduate Diploma Two (2) years Nursing Required
Certification CPRB/BLS Required Required
License Dubai Health Authority in Assistant Nurse. Required
