Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives for our client. In this strategic role, you will lead the development of innovative data science solutions, mentor a team of data professionals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that drive business value. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and leadership, with a proven track record of deploying enterprise-level models and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support scalable and efficient analytics and machine learning workflows.
• Work with large datasets, ensuring high data quality, integrity, and availability.
• Develop and implement machine learning models, focusing on regression, classification, and clustering techniques.
• Apply libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and XGBoost to solve real-world business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering collaboration and driving best practices.
• Optimize query performance and database structures to support fast and efficient data processing.
• Explore and implement deep learning techniques using Keras, PyTorch, or TensorFlow where applicable.

About the contract:

• The role is a long-term (one-year renewable) contract position through Xenon7, which is the approved vendor of the client. 
• The payments are paid out in gross amount in USD on a monthly schedule.
