Job Title: Metadata Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metadata Engineer with expertise in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise data catalog. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data modeling, and data quality concepts, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the enterprise data catalog using Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), ensuring it supports data discovery and metadata management effectively.
• Define, enforce, and implement data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance across data assets.
• Create, organize, and manage metadata repositories to facilitate data discovery, reuse, and consistency across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with data stewards and stakeholders to enhance data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Develop and implement procedures to monitor data quality within metadata repositories and address any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of expertise in using Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, best practices, and data quality management.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and data quality metrics.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and improve data catalog effectiveness.
