BTECH, a leading omni-channel retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances in Egypt, is seeking a Financial Statement Manager to join its finance team. As the Financial Statement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
In this role, you will work closely with other finance team members to manage the month-end and year-end close processes, review financial statements for completeness and accuracy, and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of financial statement analysis and reporting.
* Preparing financial statements for group companies in accordance with Egyptian accounting standards and international reporting standards.
* Identifying factors that may impact the company's performance, the group's performance, and its ability to achieve its specific objectives.
* Conducting necessary analyses of the company's and group's financial matters or changes that the group may experience, and then providing suggestions and advice based on these analyses to decision-makers.
* Working on developing methods and means related to financial management, thus reducing the financial risks that the company/group may incur.
* Managing the company/group's financial information and data, collecting them, and then working on analyzing and interpreting them.
* Ensuring the implementation of the annual monitoring process through continuous communication and coordination with the company's auditors.
* Managing the company's financial budget and determining the best ways to invest funds and achieve the best results.
* Working on developing plans that would increase the value of the company's capital.
The required skills for working as a financial statements manager are numerous and diverse, as the individual should possess many skills and qualifications, including:
* Obtaining a bachelor's degree in accounting and relevant professional certifications (such as CPA, Egyptian Society of Accountants membership, or certification in international reporting standards).
* Experience (5-9) years.
* Possessing skill and experience in using accounting software and proficiency in using computers and related programs.
* Ability to gather information and data, process and track them, and work on analyzing them.
* Possessing advanced mathematical and technical skills.
* Leadership skills and the ability to motivate employees.
* Building strong relationships with others and possessing the necessary communication skills.
* Making correct, sound, and prompt decisions and having decision-making ability.
* Having business awareness to assist company management.
* Familiarity with all the latest developments
* The desired caliber should Have CPA, ACCA, or ESAA qualifications.
