The organization is a flagship gigaproject under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aiming to create a world-class entertainment, cultural and lifestyle destination. As a multibillion-dollar project, it will encompass vast infrastructure development, hospitality, retail and service sectors, requiring robust procurement compliance management.
The Assistant Manager – Compliance, Audit, and L&D is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compliance and audit frameworks specific to procurement operations. This role ensures adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and risk management strategies, fostering a culture of compliance. Additionally, the role includes leading compliance-focused training initiatives to ensure all staff are well-versed in best practices. The position requires conducting audits and implementing corrective actions to continuously improve organizational compliance.
1. Compliance and Audit Framework Development:
- Assist in the development and implementation of audits and the tools to evaluate procurement activities effectively.
- Support the planning and execution of internal audits, identifying risks, areas of non-compliance, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support alignment of procurement at the organization with local (e.g., LCGPA) and international regulatory requirements, PIF guidelines, and organization’s internal policies.
- Ensure implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings and monitor progress over time.
2. Compliance Training and L&D
- Assist in the design and delivery of compliance training programs to educate staff on policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Support creation of targeted training programs, in collaboration with HR and L&D, to foster organization-wide compliance awareness.
3. Risk and Policy Management
- Support collaboration with Governance and Finance teams to ensure procurement compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate effectively in compliance-related matters across procurement activities.
4. Team Management and Development
- Manage and support junior team members, ensuring professional growth through mentorship and annual performance appraisals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Compliance, Audit, and L&D team.
- Support local content, localization and ESG compliance efforts, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and global best practices.
