Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the property management, real estate, or hospitality sectors. This position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical systems in our facilities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and occupant comfort. The Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer will lead electrical maintenance operations and contribute to long-term system performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance Management:
• Lead and oversee all electrical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades, ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems across the facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments of electrical systems (including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and backup power) to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and develop maintenance schedules.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical leadership on electrical systems, components, and equipment to support day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors to troubleshoot electrical issues, implement improvements, and enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
• Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot electrical failures, malfunctions, and inefficiencies, applying corrective actions to restore system functionality and prevent future issues.
• Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and trends related to electrical systems to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and energy conservation.
• Project Coordination and Execution:
• Coordinate with senior management, maintenance teams, and external stakeholders to plan and execute electrical maintenance projects, system upgrades, and renovations.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and procurement plans for electrical projects, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and system performance evaluations for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Prepare regular reports, analysis, and recommendations related to electrical system performance, energy use, maintenance costs, and lifecycle management to inform strategic decision-making.
  

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, facility management, property management, or hospitality.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, equipment, and components with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to building systems and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
