General Purpose
Responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and leveraging digital technologies to optimize sales processes. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring the integration of digital tools to support business growth and streamline sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Capability Development:
- Design and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
- Lead training and development initiatives to improve the skills and capabilities of the sales team
- Develop and deliver sales enablement programs, including onboarding, ongoing training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and provide solutions to address them.
- Ensure the sales team has access to the tools, resources, and information needed to drive performance.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing sales processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve interdepartmental collaboration.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance sales efficiency.
Sales Digitization & Technology Integration:
- Evaluate and recommend digital tools and platforms to improve lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and reporting.
- Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure proper integration of systems and seamless data flow across platforms.
Performance Analytics and Reporting:
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies, identify trends, and track KPIs.
- Leverage analytics to provide actionable insights and guide decision-making within the sales team.
- Establish clear metrics for measuring the success of sales capability and efficiency initiatives.
Qualification
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Business or related field.
Experience:
- More than 10 years of solid experience in Sales, channel management or partner development.
- Proven track record of building and managing sales partnerships and achieving revenue targets
- Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
