AHS, a distinguished leader in luxury real estate development, is looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Planning to lead our planning department. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing all planning activities for our luxury development projects, from initial concept through to final approval. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of planning regulations, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in the real estate sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning department, managing a team of planners and coordinators to deliver high-quality planning outcomes
- Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives for luxury real estate projects
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and sustainable development plans
- Prepare and submit planning applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and local policies
- Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups to navigate the planning process
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate potential development opportunities
- Monitor local and national planning trends, regulations, and best practices to inform project strategies
- Advise the executive team on planning matters and risk management
- Ensure timely processing and approval of planning applications
- Manage the preparation of planning reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Lead negotiations with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to secure project approvals

- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Design, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a Head of Planning or similar role in luxury real estate development (10+ years)
- In-depth knowledge of planning regulations, policies, and processes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in planning software and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
