We are in search of a dynamic and proactive Application Consultant to take charge of managing and supporting the company’s ERP system, alongside various software applications utilized throughout the organization. The ideal candidate should possess experience in overseeing multiple applications, offering end-user support, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that business requirements are satisfied through adept solution implementation. Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central ERP will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Management and Support:

  • Deliver daily support for numerous business applications to guarantee seamless operations.
  • Address issues promptly or escalate to suppliers when necessary.
  • Monitor application performance and uphold system stability.
  • Develop and enhance applications according to evolving business demands over time.

Focus areas include:

  • Approximately 80% attention to the ERP system (Business Central)
  • About 20% focus on other specialized applications

Coordination with Suppliers:

  • Initiate support tickets with suppliers and ensure timely resolution through follow-up.
  • Communicate business requirements effectively and coordinate necessary updates or changes with suppliers.
  • Oversee that the implemented changes are aligned with business objectives.

Business Requirement Gathering:

  • Collaborate closely with business owners to comprehend and document their needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for suppliers or development teams.

Application Enhancements and Proposals:

  • Assess and suggest new applications or solutions to meet business needs or enhance efficiency.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and emerging technologies to propose suitable tools.
  • Lead initiatives for the integration of new applications into the current technology framework.

User Training and Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on application features, workflows, and best practices.
  • Create and update comprehensive documentation for applications and processes.

Project Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of application-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for achieving successful project outcomes.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in supporting and managing business applications.
  • Experience in raising and managing support tickets with suppliers is essential.
  • Strong grasp of business workflows and process enhancement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Business Central ERP or Dynamics NAV is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Exceptional proficiency in managing and troubleshooting enterprise applications, specifically ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Business Central).
  • Knowledgeable in system integrations (APIs), data migrations, and basic SQL for reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and understanding IT infrastructure, including cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365).
  • Awareness of market trends and emerging SaaS applications for proposing appropriate solutions.

Functional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of business processes with the ability to align applications to organizational needs.
  • Proficient in requirement gathering, vendor coordination, and support ticket management.
  • Skilled at managing change, executing updates, and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation capabilities, along with the capacity to train end-users and produce process manuals.
  • Proactive in identifying and recommending innovative tools and solutions to boost business effectiveness.
