As an Associate Infrastructure Engineer at Sumerge, you will play a crucial role in supporting our infrastructure team in building, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure for various projects and internal operations. You'll be exposed to a wide array of technologies and platforms, allowing you to develop your skills in system administration, cloud services, and network management.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the deployment and configuration of servers and applications, ensuring security best practices are followed, and troubleshooting any infrastructure-related issues. You'll work closely with senior infrastructure engineers to learn industry standards and implement solutions that enhance performance and reliability across the board.
Responsibilities
- Handles internal IT support requests.
- Installs and supports business applications, operating systems and devices.
- Assists in the procurement process of assets and accessories.
- Assists in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and backup of network devices and Internet Services.
- Assists in basic data centre monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution activities.
- Monitors and escalates servers and storage issues.
- Ensures endpoint security is working properly on devices.
- Documents troubleshooting and resolution procedures.

- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Familiarity with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from feedback.
