About Gathern:
Gathern is a company developing a peer-to-peer (P2P) vacation rental marketplace. Its solution allows users to rent a villa, apartment, farm, caravan, room, chalet, camp, or yacht, among other options, directly from an individual owner, while the owners have the ability to list their properties for rent through the website and application without having to obtain an individual rental license.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Product Designer is responsible for shaping and enhancing the user experience of our products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the design process from concept to implementation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
User Research and Analysis:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitor products to inform design decisions.
Conceptualization and Ideation:
- Generate creative design concepts and ideas that align with product goals.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and goals.
Wireframing and prototyping:
- Create detailed wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Iterate on designs based on user testing, feedback, and development constraints.
Visual Design:
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs that incorporate branding elements and enhance the overall aesthetics of the product.
- Work closely with the UI/UX team to ensure consistency across all design elements.
Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather valuable feedback on design iterations.
- Use usability findings to refine and improve the user experience.

- Bachelor's in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- A minimum of 4 years Proven experience as a product designer with a strong emphasis on mobile app design, with a portfolio showcasing your mobile app projects.
- Expert in using Figma.
- Expertise in mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design methodologies.
- Experience with agile and iterative design processes, particularly in the mobile app development context.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with B2C business models and an understanding of mobile app user behavior.
- Adept at A/B testing and data-driven design decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
