At Six Flags Qiddiya City, The Team Leader - Wardrobe & Costume will support in managing daily costume and wardrobe operations, ensuring the accurate
distribution, maintenance, and organization of uniforms and costumes, and maintaining high-quality standards for performances and operations. The Team
Leader also plays a critical role in training, troubleshooting, and fostering teamwork within the department.
JOB-SPECIFIC
Costume and Uniform Preparation
▪ Understand park operations and show schedules.
▪ Distribute costumes and uniforms according to daily schedules.
▪ Coordinate the team to complete assignments efficiently.
Fittings and Adjustments
▪ Operate sewing machines to make basic garment alterations and adjustments.
Laundry and Maintenance
▪ Familiarize with and operate washers, dryers, and other relevant equipment.
Inventory Management
▪ Track inventory levels and report replenishment needs to the Assistant or Senior Manager.
Uniform Distribution and Rotation
▪ Ensure timely and organized distribution and collection of uniforms.
Wardrobe Oversight During Performances
▪ Maintain the visual integrity of performers and staff by ensuring adherence to designed looks and grooming standards.
Wig and Makeup Assistance
▪ Provide basic wig and makeup support or demonstrate a willingness to learn these skills.
Team Collaboration
▪ Foster a cooperative team environment by supporting and guiding team members.
Emergency Preparedness
▪ Address costume-related emergencies promptly and effectively.
Record Keeping
▪ Maintain accurate records of repairs, fittings, and inventory updates.
Wardrobe and Uniform Space Organization
▪ Ensure wardrobe spaces are clean, organized, and functional.
Supporting Special Events and Promotional Activities
▪ Provide wardrobe support for special events, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
0-2 years in a team leader role, preferably within theme parks, cruise lines, or a similar environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
Solid understanding of show operations and costume/uniform care and maintenance.
Attention to detail with an appreciation for aesthetics and garment craftsmanship.
Proficiency in basic sewing, alterations, and fittings (advanced construction skills are a plus).
Ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and staff calmly and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Familiarity with garment care, repair techniques, and inventory systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
Flexibility to work at nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
