Procurement Excellence Specialist

Role Purpose:

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to governmental regulations, as well as Osool's internal policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying potential areas for improvement and maintaining the Procurement policy and process manuals. This will be achieved through comprehensive feedback collection from various business divisions to effectively meet overarching organizational demands.

Key Accountabilities:

Compliance and Excellence

  • Guarantee compliance with applicable governmental regulations.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in service reliability, overall quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the upkeep of Procurement policy and process manuals.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Communicate accomplishments, success narratives, challenges, concerns, and compliance issues to senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to all mandatory governmental and customs regulations, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Identify and document potential improvements for policy and process manuals based on collected feedback regarding operational practices.

Alignment and Communication

  • Work closely with business units to ensure alignment across all policies and procedures within Osool.
  • Maintain proactive communication with governmental entities to stay updated on current regulations and restrictions.

Digital Procurement Enhancement

Amplify the utilization of technological tools in procurement and facilitate ongoing improvements in digitalization and process automation wherever feasible.

Procurement Excellence

  • Assist in executing the procurement digital roadmap.
  • Monitor business SLAs, generate management reports, and flag issues as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Procurement SLAs and strive for ongoing advancements.
  • Promote technology adoption and spearhead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support the AE Manager with all training-related functions.

Compliance and Commitment

  • Ensure comprehensive adherence to all pertinent Osool governance documentation, which includes but is not limited to, policies and operational procedures.
  • Complete all assigned training modules and ensure compliance with the established learning and career development pathways.

Job Specifications:

Qualifications and Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Experience

A recent graduate with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Skills

Proficiency in software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong communication and project management capabilities, stakeholder management proficiency, effective document drafting skills, and robust analytical skills.

Language Requirements

Arabic - native proficiency.

English - fluent proficiency.

  • Coordinate with the business to ensure alignment on all policies and processes within Osool.
  • Proactively communicate with the relevant governmental entities to maintain up to date with latest regulations and 
  • restrictions.

Digital Procurement Enhancement

Ensure increased utilization of procurement technological tools, and continuously enhance digitalization and process automation where possible.

Procurement Excellence

  • Support implementation of the procurement digital roadmap.
  • Track business SLAs, develop management reports and escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance to all related Procurement SLAs and aim for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adoption of technology and lead continuous improvement.
  • Support AE Manager in all training related activities.

Compliance and Commitment

  • Ensure full compliance to all relevant Osool governance documents, including but not limited to, policies and procedures.
  • Complete the assigned training courses and ensure adherence to the assigned learning/ career development pathway.
