Who You Are…

You are a dedicated individual with exceptional communication, and collaboration skills. You have experience in agile methodologies and a solid understanding of product discovery.

As a Product Manager - you will play a crucial role in executing our product development strategy, with a focus on the discovery phase. This will include working closely with customers to deeply understand their problems and pain points. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers and Product Designers to ensure that our products meet user needs and align with our business goals. A background in engineering/technical development and exceptional time management skills will further enhance your ability to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy:
  
  

○ Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the product vision and long-term strategy.

○ Translate the product vision into actionable goals and prioritize them based on business value and user impact.

• Discovery Phase:
  
  

○ Spearhead user research activities to gain deep insights into user needs, pain points, and desires.

○ Schedule and conduct customer interviews and meetings, including on-site visits to construction locations, to gather first-hand information and documentation.

○ Define and validate product concepts and prototypes through iterative feedback loops.

○ Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to align discovery findings with the overall product strategy.

• Backlog Management:
  
  

○ Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the insights gathered during discovery.

○ Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

○ Prioritize user stories based on stakeholder input, business value, and user feedback.

• Sprint Planning and Grooming:
  
  

○ Participate in sprint planning meetings and grooming sessions with Engineering teams, offering insights from the discovery phase.

○ Collaborate with developers and tech leads to estimate user stories and ensure alignment with sprint goals.

• Development Oversight:
  
  

○ Work closely with developers to ensure that the product vision and user needs are understood throughout the development process.

○ Monitor development progress and address any roadblocks or issues that may arise.

• Testing and Validation:
  
  

○ Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to validate user stories and ensure they meet acceptance criteria.

○ Collaborate with designers and developers to address any defects or issues identified during testing.

• Documentation and Communication:
  
  

○ Maintain comprehensive documentation related to product features, user stories, and development progress.

○ Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Product Managers, developers, and designers, to keep them informed of project status and changes.

• Release Management:
  
  

○ Collaborate on product releases, ensuring that the final product aligns with the discoveries made during the discovery phase.

Qualifications And Education

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a product backlog effectively.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Technical background or familiarity with software development processes is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field
