Job Description

We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Polisher you are responsible for all decorations and maintenance repair works related within the Hotel including guest rooms and public areas, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as-

• Ensure that all interior and exterior surfaces of furniture, equipments and other structures are properly maintained as per Hotel standard
• Ensure to comply to hazardous materials guidelines in applying paints, surface preparatory materials when doing the maintenance requests
• Perform safe handling and appropriate disposal of paints, undercoating materials and other hazardous materials safely
• Maintain decorative coats of paints, varnish, lacquer and other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of furnitures, equipments and other surfaces condition
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
  
  

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally be having an education in technical studies or equivalent qualification with previous experiences in a similar role. You should be able to work under policies and regulations and must be in good physical condition. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify systems are essentials.

Knowledge & Competencies

The ideal candidate will be self motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events.
