Key Responsibilities
• Quantitative Modelling: Develop and refine complex quantitative models using Python, Excel, R, and other relevant tools to support policy advisory and decision-making processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team’s data scientists and the AI delivery team to integrate models into broader analytics and AI frameworks.
• Analysis: Apply advanced quantitative techniques to extract actionable insights and drive policy recommendations.
• Model Validation: Ensure the robustness and accuracy of models under high-pressure, dynamic conditions.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of modelling approaches, assumptions, and performance metrics.
Technical Skills & Proficiencies
• Quantitative Analysis Tools: Advanced proficiency in Python, Excel, and R for quantitative modelling.
• Modelling Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop, test, and refine complex quantitative models.
• Optional Skills: Familiarity with SQL and big data technologies is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
• Educational Background:
• A Master’s degree in Finance is preferred; or
• A Master’s degree in Economics, Management, or Business Analytics in combination with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience, including internships, with a background in banking, investment, or similar fields that require high exposure to quantitative modelling.
