Job Description:

Zhivago is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in 6th of October City. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 2 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting tasks, and supporting financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Support tax filings, audits, and compliance with local regulations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Odoo is preferable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
