JOB TITLE

Head of Operations - Ski Egypt | MAF Entertainment | Snow Dome

ROLE SUMMARY

Manage Ski Egypt as a profit center head in order to deliver the agreed business objectives.

ROLE PROFILE

• Contribute to long-term business strategy with the Director of Operations to enhance customer experience and exceed performance targets.
• Develop annual business plans and budgets, set goals for departments, oversee execution, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Lead Ski Egypt’s teams to optimize resource use, boost productivity, and minimize costs while ensuring policy adherence.
• Oversee smooth, safe operations across snow play, ski training, penguin area, and outsourced services like Security and Maintenance.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive attendance, optimize budget spend, and ensure a world-class customer experience.
• Work with Operations and Marketing teams to maintain an engaging activity program that enhances customer loyalty.
• Partner with F&B leadership to maximize profitability and explore new business opportunities for asset utilization.
• Safeguard financial and physical assets, oversee expense controls, and ensure compliance with MAF reporting and policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years of progressive experience culminating in having had full P&L responsibility for a medium sized business as a profit centre head with a demonstrable track record of achievement.
• Experience in FEC /Amusement Park/ Ski Resort management is desirable.
• Should possess excellent communication/ interpersonal skills and capability to lead a team of managers.
• Capability to develop excellent contracts with local authorities, large corporate(potential sponsors) and business associates to further business interests.
• Crisis management capability.
• Must be service oriented and passionate about delivering a quality guest experience.
