Responsibilities
- Lead procurement of materials, equipment, and services for dark store construction and operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control for construction and maintenance materials.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and delivery schedules.
- Manage construction and renovation projects for dark stores, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure project adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with operations and facilities teams to align construction and procurement efforts with business needs.
- Report regularly to senior management on project and procurement status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in construction management or facilities management.
- Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, such as Excel
- Strong command of English
- Owning a car is a plus
