A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a mid-level Billing and Insurance Coordinator with substantial experience in the Emergency Department to enhance our dynamic team.

The preferred candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced billing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing patient billing inquiries efficiently
  • Providing clear explanations of charges
  • Ensuring accurate postings of charges and payments to corresponding accounts
  • Understanding, adhering to, and supporting all hospital infection control initiatives

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Prior Emergency Department experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional customer service, resourceful and motivated. The ability to be flexible is required for working different shifts.
  • Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance card terminologies. Data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge in the FULL Process of the claim cycle including:
  1. Eligibility
  2. Authorizations
  3. Billing and collections
  4. Accounts receivable
