Position Summary:

Are you passionate about quality assurance and excited to contribute to delivering high-quality software? We are looking for a motivated and skilled Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team! You will play a key role in designing, executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with our development teams to ensure our software is top-notch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing scope and objectives.
• Functional and Regression Testing:
• Perform manual and automated functional testing of features and bug fixes.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the software.
• Defect Identification and Reporting:
• Identify, document, and track software defects using relevant tools.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely defect resolution.
• Test Documentation:
• Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, results, and reports.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure high-quality releases.
• Communicate test progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:
• Actively participate in discussions about process improvements and the implementation of best practices.
• Identify areas for automation and contribute to enhancing test coverage.
• Adherence to Standards:
• Ensure adherence to company testing standards, methodologies, and quality processes.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in a QA role, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential risks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
• Ability to create and execute effective test plans and cases.
• Strong defect identification, tracking, and resolution skills.
• Knowledge of performance and regression testing.
