JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a dedicated Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential in advancing our sustainability initiatives and ensuring that our projects align with the Vision 2030 objectives. The Sustainability Specialist will work closely with project teams to embed sustainable practices, evaluate project impacts on the environment, and promote a culture of sustainability within the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about sustainability and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities
- strong understanding of environmental policies, sustainability practices, and corporate social responsibility.
- Experience with city infrastructure e.g. power, water, air handling etc. experience would be beneficial
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and KPIs within design
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability practices into Design.
- Engage and educate Designers on sustainability practices and initiatives.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sustainability or environmental management.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Passion for sustainability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Saudi National Preferred.
