We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and safety regulations.
  • Organize safety training programs for employees.
  • Monitor and inspect worksites, equipment, and operations to identify hazards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports.
  • Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and compliance reports.
  • Enforce use of protective equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines.
  • Liaise with government authorities and external safety agencies as required.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among employees.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification (mandatory).
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and implement safety measures.
  • Proficiency in report writing and safety documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
