About the Role:
To create the opportunity for sales, profit and space growth for all Almarai product groups across the entire GCC by coordinating national and regional product promotions, creating effective category and product planograms which are presented in a simple and consumer focused manner taking account of the latest category management principles will deliver overall increased sales and profit growth for Almarai
Activities:
1. Creating, maintaining and reviewing national and regional GCC promotional activity plans
2. Communication and overseeing execution of promotional activity across the GCC
3. Create and maintain the annual promotional activity schedule
4. Consult and work collaboratively with marketing, sales, production, supply chain, forecasting and finance in relation to delivering effective and innovative promotions
5. Network with sales teams and Key Accounts to deliver key retailer bespoke promotional activity
6. Work across all GCC regions regarding creating and delivering an effective regional promotional activity program
7. Coordinate with sales team to improve the level of effectiveness of promotions execution to achieve excellence by developing sales and profit growth, limit over and under stocks, correct distribution and waste control
8. Communicate relevant reports, information and present findings regarding the effects of the promotional activity on a monthly basis.
9. Creating, maintaining and reviewing national and regional GCC Merchandising activity plans
10. Coordinate NPD listing with relevant regional key account teams
11. Coordinate sponsorship & events at head office level with business unit teams
12. Creating, Maintaining and reviewing a package of merchandising Planograms
13. communication and overseeing execution of Merchandising activity across the GCC
14. Engage with other Divisions to ensure that all requirements are met and agreement is achieved for all merchandising to enable Merchandising excellence
15. Engage with other Divisions to ensure that all merchandising requirements are taken into account to achieve merchandising excellence
16. Create and maintain the annual Merchandising and display equipment placement activity schedule
17. Create and maintain the annual Merchandising Activity Schedule which is refreshed on a quarterly basis
18. Consult and work collaboratively with marketing, sales, production, supply chain, forecasting and finance in relation to delivering effective and innovative merchandising solutions
19. Work effectively as required with sales teams and Key Accounts to deliver key retailer bespoke Merchandising activity plans and initiatives Consult and work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales in relation to New Planograms, New Products and Promotion Merchandising
20. Work across all GCC regions regarding creating and delivering an effective regional Merchandising activity programs
21. Mentor and coach sales team to improve the level of effectiveness of merchandising execution to achieve excellence by developing sales and profit growth, limit over and under stocks, correct distribution and waste control through precise planograms
22. Communicate relevant reports, information and present findings regarding the effects of the Merchandising activity on a monthly basis
23. Assist Trade Marketing Manager in other associated category management and promotional associated tasks required within the department
Requirement:
Potential candidate must meet the requirements mentioned below:
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
English proficiency
3 years’ experience in FMCG marketing or sales promotions
