ROLE PURPOSE

The Cashier role’s key responsibility is to receive and reconcile all Operations collected payment types. Sing off the collection sheet for each courier after reviewing received payment against payment receipts irrespective to the payment method (i.e Cash, check, online payment etc) Prepare end of day balance sheet to hand over collected payments to the contracted money transfer company representative after obtaining the confirmation receipt for the handed cash at the end of every day.

Principal Accountabilities

• Accept the cash and collections sheet for the collected outstanding due payments which is collected during the business day from each courier.
• Update the collection system CAA on same collection day and print the day debrief for each courier and sign it of confirming the received amounts
• Accept the cash hand over from service points agent through the CAA and the physical cash provided by couriers
• Complete Collection CAA process till banking to reflect to financial applications SAP
• Hand over the reconciled cash and cheques to security cash transfer contracted company
• Report any outstanding records to the supervisor and follow up the non-collected shipments until completion
• Monitoring pending processes to be cleared on daily basis

• Randomly collection receipts audit
• Reviewing collection SYS dashboard
• Recollect the collection from third party and daily update
• Following up with third party service provider for delivered shipments and collection

• 0-2 years of cash handling experience
