Operations Excellence

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Senior level Operations Excellence opportunity for our client, an energy company in the UAE.

The role supports the team from both Asset Management and Business Development/Mergers and Acquisitions perspectives.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and challenging the operator's life-of-field operating philosophies, operating cost estimates, asset integrity activities, and shutdown planning, while providing independent estimates when necessary for their international gas and LNG projects.

Additionally, support is required within the Business Development/Mergers and Acquisitions teams to conduct technical due diligence on upstream international growth opportunities.

Key Accountabilities For This Role Include

• Monitoring the operator’s activities to ensure compliance with JV agreements.
• Reviewing and analysing operational reports and performance metrics.
• Evaluating the overall performance of the JV and assessing the operator’s performance against agreed benchmarks.
• Tracking and reviewing expenditures and budgets related to JV operations, ensuring cost control measures are in place.
• Identifying, assessing, and proposing risk management strategies for JV operations.
