Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Carry out fault diagnostic on all cranes and other equipment, as necessary.
- Lead the shift team and ensure all activities are doing according to the manufacture recommendations.
- Carry out planned, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all crane types and other equipment as necessary in the business unit.
- Follow up and ensure implementation of safety regulations for all maintenance activities in cranes.
- Apply and ensure the implementation of safety regulations as per engineering SOP and RA for all maintenance works in all cranes.
- Ensure full implementation of effective reporting system and KPI for Engineering Department like PM compliance and EM and CM work orders
- Manage the maintenance team to ensure high availability of crane equipment.
- Conduct TBTs and safety awareness to all shift team members.
- Ensure a record of all shift activities in the Maximo system.
- Lead any work related to contractors’ or agents’ visits in his shift.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor Educational Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Overall, 1-3 years experience in engines and hydraulic systems.
- Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures.
- Prefer to have experience in the ports and terminals cranes.
- Leadership skills in leading a vast number of people to achieve DPWS targets.
- Very Good English language both spoken and written
- Very Good in Ms Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent initiative and Entrepreneurship skills.
- Excellent communication skills with various departments.
- Customer Service Orientation Teamwork & Cooperation.
