Data Controller
Dwamk is provided by Mansour Alajmi. For privacy inquiries, email support@dwamk.com.
Local Data
Work settings, schedules, and preferences are stored on your device. They may be shared locally with app extensions, such as widgets and the watch app, to provide the features you choose.
Microphone and Sleep
When you start a sleep session and give permission, Dwamk uses the microphone only during that session to detect snoring, coughing, and possible sleep talking on your device. Speech alone does not prove that you are asleep. Detection begins after a waiting period in the background, without requiring earlier snoring. A phrase of up to 10 seconds followed by quiet may be accepted, while continuous conversations are excluded where possible. Detection is an estimate and may misclassify or miss sounds. Snoring and coughing detection continues during clip playback, and recordings may include playback audio. Sleep talking is excluded during playback. Accepted clips are saved automatically: about 10 seconds for snoring and coughing, and about 16 seconds for talking, including surrounding audio and quiet. Each session keeps up to 20 automatic clips. Recordings are encrypted locally. The default retention period is 20 nights and can be changed to 100 nights or forever. Favorites are not deleted automatically. Audio is not uploaded to a server.
Apple Watch and Widgets
Selected schedule information, preferences, and alarm status may be made available to the iPhone widget and paired Apple Watch through Apple app-group storage and device connectivity. Their availability depends on pairing, device settings, and system permissions.
Calendar, Notifications, and Alarms
Dwamk uses these permissions only to add the work shifts you choose, send reminders, and run alarms. It does not modify calendar events it did not create.
iPhone Calendar Synchronization
If you enable calendar synchronization, Dwamk requests access to the relevant calendar functionality to create and update selected work shifts. It may remove calendar events previously created by Dwamk when you disable synchronization or change your schedule; it is not intended to alter unrelated events.
Photos and Files
To import a schedule, Dwamk processes the image or PDF you select. Using the system picker does not grant general access to your photo library.
Schedule Import and On-Device Assistance
Selected schedule images and PDFs can be analyzed on the device using document recognition and local assistance. Recognized entries may be incorrect, so you can review them before saving. This description does not imply that every future AI feature will necessarily work offline.
Purchases
Apple handles purchases. Dwamk does not receive your payment card details.
Optional Usage Analytics
Usage analytics sharing is off by default. If you enable it in Settings, Dwamk uses Firebase Analytics to send general events about feature use, operation results, and purchases. These may include your general schedule type, such as daytime work, shifts, rotating shifts, or university; a random app installation identifier; your device type and system and app versions; and an approximate region inferred from your network address. Schedule contents and times, recordings, health data, your name, and your email address are not sent. You can turn sharing off at any time, and your choice is saved on your device. These analytics are not used for advertising or tracking you across other apps and websites.
Third-Party Analytics Provider
When you opt in to usage analytics, Google Firebase Analytics processes the permitted analytics information as a service provider. Analytics processing may involve infrastructure outside your country. For Google's product privacy information, visit Firebase Privacy and Security. Turning off analytics prevents subsequent app-initiated analytics events, but does not necessarily erase information already received by Google. Contact support for privacy requests concerning previously collected information.
Firebase Privacy and SecurityControl and Deletion
You can revoke permissions in your device settings and delete saved data using the tools in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device.
Data Retention and Requests
Local schedules and settings remain until you change or remove them or uninstall the app, subject to your device's backup and storage behavior. Sleep recording retention is governed by the options described above. Analytics data may be retained by the service provider according to its applicable settings and policies. You can contact support@dwamk.com to ask questions about privacy or applicable data rights. Deleting local app data does not automatically delete data already sent to third parties.
Tracking
Dwamk does not use targeted advertising or track your activity across other apps and websites.
Children
Dwamk is a scheduling and productivity app, not designed specifically for children. Users and guardians should review device permissions and the app's sleep recording features before use.
Policy Changes
We may revise this policy when features or data practices change. The last-updated date on this page indicates the latest revision.
